Stop Motion Animation (G8AG3) – MHIS Showcase

Hi,

Assalamualaikum everyone!

This is group 3, we have Mikail as the leader, Salma as the vice leader and other members are Alesha and Keihl. For this Language Fair, our group did a stop motion animation and Mikail as the leader of the group divided the tasks to all the members.

We decided to make a stop motion animation with ‘School Life’ as the topic.

And we have the theme of ‘Analyzing/Comparing Hobbies’. The stop motion involves 4 main characters and some teachers. Mikail as the leader of our group decided on our roles and tasks for each member and was in charge of the editing part. Salma did her part in making the music background by instrument. Alesha contributed to creating the subtitles. While Keihl was tasked to do the animation.

First we read the guidelines then we divided the tasks. Afterwards, we continued to the planning part; Mikail did some searches for ICT and Mandarin subjects, Salma searched for English, Science and Arabic subjects while Alesha did the PE and GP followed by Keihl doing the Religion subject . Next, we started to think about the concept of the stop motion animation. We changed the concept several times and in the end Keihl decided to use flipa clip to make the animation . Following that, Salma started to make the first and second music. While Keihl created the animation, Salma also made the third music to make it longer. After that, Mikail checked the animation and started to do the editing part. Next, Mikail asked Alesha to do the subtitle part because the editing had been finished. Lastly Alesha created the subtitles and our project is complete.

This was our 2nd time doing the PBL project. This year we chose stop motion for our project and the work was divided as so:

Mikail: Editing, managing team

Salma: Background music, article

Alesha: Subtitles

Keihl: Stop Motion Animation
