LINK OF APPLICATION

Hello everyone, we are group 2 from G10 consisting of 3 members, who are: Malik, Fathan, and Farrel.

We created an android application that can find the probability of having offspring with a certain blood type by typing in the blood type of the two parents.

Farrel is the video editor and research paper maker of our project.

Malik is the main application developer for this project he was also the one who helped distribute the research paper in the STEAM fair slides. Malik believes that the development of the app was the most rigorous process because it required a lot of trial and error. It also required basic knowledge on how block-based programming. The most trouble Malik had was when he was trying to create the phenotypic calculator because he is not familiar with programming in general. Overall, Malik believes that this project was fun, although it was stressful at times.

Fathan is was also responsible for the creation of the research paper, and he also gave data of his parent’s blood types so we could put it in our research paper.

We have gone through a difficult process, but our good teamwork prevailed! So first, we discussed the material provided from the STEAM Fair guidelines. Then, we all studied the needed concepts. We typed all those things in a document that we have created. We practiced everything after drafting our script. For a few days, we used Zoom to record our project. After creating the video, we edited it and we discussed it with the teachers who gave their suggestions before the leader uploaded it to Youtube. Then we copied the Youtube link and submitted the link through Google classroom.

We got a lot of experience doing this project, we learned the importance of teamwork, one of our members also learned the difficulty of making an application, another also learned how important it is to time manage. Our project wasn’t easily done but we pulled through and made it till the end!
