Assalamu’alaikum wr. wb.

This is the Song Composition group, we have Alya, or Lee as the leader, Daniysa as the vice leader and Naufal. For this PBL Project, our group did Song Composition and Lee, as the leader of the group divided the task to all members.

We decided to make a song about “The Tortoise and The Hare”

 Lee, as the leader of our group decided on our roles and tasks for each member. Naufal is in charge to find a story to compose it to a song, Daniysa is in charge to  find the melody for our song, and Lee is in charge to write the lyrics for our song.

This was our 2nd time doing the project and this year was different from last year, everyone was very hard to communicate with, everyone didn’t believe that we’ll finish it, but we managed to by realizing that working separately is a bad decision and decided to work together more often.

We learned a lifelong lesson that we’ll never forget, “keep the faith a while longer” and always work together to “pull the truck out of the ditch”

The Tortoise and The Hare

Song ;                                                   melody ; Itsy bitsy spider

There once lived a tortoise very, very, green,
As green as the forest he lives in.
He was also very, very, very slow,
As slow as a car running out of gas.

There once lived a rabbit very, very white,
As white as the snow in winter day.
He was also very, very, very, fast,
Even as fast as a full-speed car.

One day the rabbit challenged the tortoise in a race.
The tortoise without thinking accepted the dare,
The rabbit put a very wide smile on his face,
Knowing very well the tortoise will lose in the race.

Atlas, the the day of the race finally came,
The rabbit invited everyone to watch them run.
“1..2.. 3” the rabbit count out loud,
Feeling great, the rabbit ran pass the turtle running slow.

Seeing that the tortoise still far away from the finish line,
The rabbit sat down on a very big tree.
He then laid down and closed both of his eyes,
Thinking that the tortoise wouldn’t get pass him when he’s up.

The rabbit then opened both of his eyes,
Seeing that the tortoise made it to the end.
The animals cheered at the very slow tortoise.
And boo-ed at the very speedy hare.
